MANAGEMENT.
The e:senses service is monitored and managed 24x7 by the essensys Network Operations Centre (NOC) which is located in Central London. Feeding the NOC, the e:senses platform encompasses instrumentation up and down the stack; from event based alerting through real-time monitoring to historical analysis.
Real-time alerting and diagnostics
Taking it from the top, our master NMS console tracks all service zones and represents the top level view of the e:senses service. Any event or combination of events that require further inspection are pushed up to our master NMS console. If it is important, then our NOC staff will catch it before it impacts you.
If we need to drill down into a particular service zone to understand what is moving when, where and why, the deep instrumentation built into the e:senses platform feeds our service monitor. Bandwidth consumption by protocol, by customer and by circuit is just a mouse click away. After all, understanding is the key to avoiding any finger pointing.
Detailed historical analysis
While a limitless capability to drill into the detail is critical to service management, the ability to collate detailed information into a seamless history is equally important. At essensys we not only pull that together, but review it on a regular basis. When that history is integrated with our back office management systems we are able to provide in-depth reporting on all aspects of the customer experience. This information gives us insight so rather than just capture it, we actually use it.
If you would like to take a look at us at the same level of detail that we use to monitor our service then contact us at simplicity@essensys.co.uk or just ask us a question.
