We work with our customers to ensure that they don’t just get the right solution on day one, but continue to get the help and support that they need day by day. Time spent with the essensys team is never time wasted and we like to think we make the IT business a little more personal and a little more fun than it might be without us.

Mark Furness – Chief Executive Officer

With 15 years experience building IT and telecommunications organisations in both Europe and Asia Pacific, Mark founded essensys in 2006 to deliver the premier IT and telecommunications managed service into the serviced office sector. A passionate leader with a vision for the future, Mark’s sales and general management background, along with his endless energy ensures that essensys is always ahead of the game.

Bryn Sadler – Chief Technical Officer

Working with ISPs and Carrier Network Operators over the past five years, Bryn has built a wealth of experience in engineering, solution design and product management. This background, allied with a keen eye for emerging technologies and customer requirements, continues to drive the evolution of essensys offerings. Bryn has a Batchelor Degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Networks and Distributed Systems.

Barry Clark – Chief Operating Officer

With a background that ranges from technical consultancy for ISPs through to managing pre-sales for a leading VoIP provider, Barry is focused on operational scalability and process automation. In his role as COO, he has automated and integrated essensys back-office to scale and support the rapidly expanding customer base. Barry has a Bachelor Degree in Business Studies from Dublin City University.

Stephen Hay – Chief Financial Officer

Steve has 20 years experience in the technology and software industry where he has held a number of CFO and Finance Director posts with companies ranging from start-ups to established multinationals. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992.

Mike Guest – Vice President Sales

Mike has a 12 year career of building and leading high performing sales and marketing functions across a number of markets, industry sectors and territories. With a keen eye on new technologies, emerging markets and customer trends Mike also has a desire to ensure that the customer lifecycle with essensys is exemplary from the very beginning.

Inga Taylor – Director of Service Delivery

Inga has spent 12 years delivering technology projects and services to clients within the business centre operators she worked for before joining essensys in January 2011. She brings with her a customer focus and a desire to make things better which fits with our core values. Inga has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Studies from Salford University.

We don’t just work hard though, we like to play too! Mark will definitely tell you he is the fastest race driver among us and is also a pretty talented musician. Steve will talk for hours about his first love the Arsenal, while Barry manages his own football team – sponsored by essensys of course! Bryn gets a buzz from sports diving and climbs mountains to relax and Inga loves rugby and is a Harlequins season ticket holder. She also spends her holidays working on the production of Glastonbury and other festivals and has a fair few stories to tell!
